Whats the largest size tires I can put on my Jeep?

I have a 2008 Jeep Wrangler X (JK). As far as I know it has P225/75R16 tires and 16 x 7.0 in. wheels (got this off the internet, so please correct me if I’m mistaken) I want to put a bigger set of tires and wheels on it, I don’t want to go any larger than 33″s but I want to avoid putting a lift kit on it, so what’s the largest size tire I can put on there without having it rub? The rims I’m getting have 4in backspacing if that means anything.

Here are the tires I want http://www.quadratec.com/products/92619_0XXX_A_PG.htm

And the rims http://www.quadratec.com/products/92819_2902_07.htm

It would be nice if you could specify which size tire would fit the rim and not rub. This is the first time I’ve ever done anything like this and don’t know too much about tires and wheels.

-Thanks!

33s should be fine. I gotta buddy with 33s in his wrangler without a lift. Looks badass

    90s

You can get 37 inchers on there with the proper lift… BUT before you do that:

Type in “advisor” on the Quadratec search. It will take you to diffenent options including lift kits.

I have a 2010 JK Unlimited Sahara. I’m really tempted to get the Rancho 4″ Sport Lift with RS9000XL shocks while the $500 rebate is on.

I’ve read a lot of good things about this lift kit.

The installation instructions are on the Quadratec site too (on the “Fitment” tab). No matter what kit you get, read the installation instructions before buying so there will be no surprises later.

You should have no problem with 285/75R16 tires. These tires would be a little more than 3″ taller. Your speedometer will read 12.1% low unless you change the gear ratios. Check out this tire comparison calculator. (Actual tires might be slightly different.)
