What is the cheapest I could spend to get 32″ tires and a 2″ lift on my Jeep Wrangler?

I want to get some 32″inch tires on my Jeep Wrangler and I would like to do it as cheap as possible. I have an 05 Wrangler Sport, automatic, with 30″x9.5″ tires on right now with stock rims. What is the best way to get this done? Where should I go to get rims and tires? Where should I go to get everything put on? Any info will be very helpful. Thanks!!

    Body lift.

Getting a 2″ body lift will fit those no problem, but to be honest I think body lifts above 1″ look stupid. It’s your call.

Alternatively, you could try this: 1″ body lift, and 1″ shackle and 1″ coil spacer lift. That way you’ll have a little of everything and won’t need special modifications. It’s probably the easiest way to go.

Keep your stock rims and mount the 32″s at any shop. You’re looking for cheap right?

Learn how to work with tools and put the suspension parts on yourself, it’s really not that hard. As for the body lift, you will need lots of extra help (you’re detaching the body from the frame of course).

Remember cheap isn’t always the best way to go. Good luck!

The cheapest would be a 2″ budget boost. It is not that expensive and you can probably do it yourself if you do some research. It’s not that hard.

As for tires, I have always gotten good prices from http://www.tirerack.com.

2″ may not be enough lift for 32″ tires, unless you will never take it off the road. Otherwise, you will rub them on the wheel wells.

Check out some of the Jeep forums as they will all have sections on “Lift and Tire combinations”.

The “cheapest” lifts you will find will be with Rough Country (www.roughcountry.com), note these are the cheapest, not the smoothest. You will get a COMPLETE kit (always ensure you are getting shocks or shock extenders). Plus RC has great customer service, I’ve used them on two of my Jeeps (YJ and XJ).

For tires, I’ve used http://www.discounttires.com and then took that price to a local Dicount Tire or Big O Tire and they will match it.

As stated, you get the most bang for the buck by installing the lift yourself. Most can be done in your drive way or garage with basic hand tools. You can “rent” a spring compressor from Autozone or one the ilk for nothing and it will make the job that much easier.

    Good luck!
