I have an ’04 Wrangler with 31 inch spare tire. I want to use a spare tire bike rack to hold 2 bikes but I don’t want to overload the tire mount. Does anyone know the weight limit for the mount? Also any recommendations for brand of bike rack?

spare tire might be 80 to 100 pounds and an d it should hold more than that but a bike rack would be smarter just type bike racks into search box
It shouldn’t be a problem to carry a bike rack and 2 bikes. I have seen jeeps with bikes on the back. If it is a problem I’m in the same boat as you I’m about to get my rack to carry my bikes on.
