Kent Campsites: Two Sites You Should Look At

September1

Camping is one of the best exercises that a person can carry out, either with family, friends or loved ones. It is the perfect way to gel with nature as well as to spend some constructive and positive time with people who matter to you. There are several camping sites all over the world, and rarely will you be in a place where there are no camping sites available. If you are in Kent and looking for camping site, you are in luck. The picturesque locales of Kent offer many a camping locations to people. These camping sites cater to all kinds of requirements and finances. Here are two of the most famous Kent Campsites: Yew Tree Park The Yew Tree Park is located around four miles to the south of Canterbury. This is one of the most historic places in the whole of East Kent, and offers a touring opportunity to tourists that cater to every need, right from camping, sightseeing, nature gazing as well as outdoor activities. The Yew Tree Park has all the amenities that one might expect from a modern camping site, beginning from the heated outdoor pool and continuing with shower blocks, dry cleaning and laundry areas, dishwashing area, a WiFi area and a freeze facility. The freezer facility comes handy because of the simple reason that a person goes camping during the summer vacations, and some cool beverage is a welcome respite from the sizzling heat. Apart from the modern amenities and appliances, Yew Tree Park also has quaint amenities like static caravans, a Timber Lodge and apartments. The Tree Park also has apartments near their pools, which are centrally heated and double glazed. All apartments and caravans are fitted with colour televisions. The Yew Tree Park has something for everyone – for people who would rather laze indoors and take a dip in the pool, they have the pools, and for people who would like to take a stroll, it offers a long enough garden path that should keep one busy for quite a while. The lanes especially beckon cyclists and there are other added attractions like golf courses, horse riding and fishing quite nearby. Then again, for the people who are looking for a watering hole, there are some pubs and restaurants that offer drinks and a quick snack quite readily. Broadhembury Caravan and Camping Park: The Broadhembury Caravan and Camping Park is another camp site that one should not miss if they are looking for best camping sites in and around Kent. Located just two miles away from the junction 10 of the M20, one needs to take the second roundabout and follow signs for Kingsnorth. Once that is done, one then needs to take a left at the scond crossroad into the ‘Steeds Lane’. The Broadhembury offers two separate venues, one for adults only and one for adults with kids. This allows people to have a more satisfactory holiday if they so wish. Broadhembury is perfect for long or short stays, and one can either rent their caravans or bring their own caravan and tents. The tents are available for yearly lease as well as short leases. The park has all the modern amenities that one might expect from a quality camping site, right from shower, the family bathrooms that cater to families with their children as well as the private bathing areas. The Broadhembury takes special care for people with any degree of immobility, with none of the amenities having a steep slope or a difficult climb. The kitchens are perfect self contained units that offer a wide range of possibilities for the campers when it comes to cooking. From a quiet dinner to a rambling barbeque everything is possible at the Broadhembury.

Looking for campground in western new york that offers group sites?

March31

Every year we go camping with about 10 other families for memorial weekend. We usually each get our own site and then pick one or two sites to have a fire on and congregate at. We have been looking for places that have group campsites to make it easier for everyone to hang out. Does anyone have any suggestions of campgrounds that do that in western ny? Thanks.

What cheap camping sites do you recommend in Australia?

March19

Since the cost of buying the airline ticket is so much, I really want to spend as little as possible on accommodation and think that camping is the way foward. How much per night – I don’t really want to spend any more than $10 australian dollars per night.

I have my own portable four man tent.

Governor Dodge State Park, Twin Valley Campground Sites 200-293

March2

Governor Dodge State Park is Wisconsin’s second largest park with an area of 5270 acres. It is named after Henry Dodge, the first Territorial Governor. The glaciers of the last Ice Age bypassed this area and left intact valleys sculpted out of 450 million year old sandstone. Human occupation of the area dates back over 8000 years. There are two man-made lakes in the park, Cox Hollow and Twin Valley, that are encircled with miles of trails for hiking, biking, skiing, and horseback riding. The Military Ridge State Trail connects to Blue Mounds State Park and continues all the way to Madison. There are 269 family campsites, eight group campsites, 11 for horse campers and six that require a hike in the back country. Camping reservations are recommended for this very popular park in the heart of Wisconsin’s Driftless Area. Nearby is the restored Cornish lead mining community of Pendarvis and Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin. Music by Maury Smith. Slide show and photographs copyright 2008, Creative Juice LLC.
