In the first or second week of April my Sorority Sisters and I are going on a camping retreat and I need to find a location.
It has to be in the middle some where from CHICO, CA, FRESNO, CA and SAN JOSE, CA, so it’s equal traveling distance for everyone. Cabin are a plus! however we are totally cool with bring our own tents. and it has to have a body of water..LOL.. Thanks in advance for all your help.

What is the best way to spend $900 sight seeing the Northern Territory top End from Matranka to Darwin? I have my own camping gear.

I’m still going to do some research on where the good spots are but it’s always nice to hear from someone who has been there what the area is like. My husband and I are going to be taking a camping trip in March, not sure yet what part of the month. I would say more towards the middle. We want to camp for maybe 2 nights and be there 3 or 4 days. We are going all out on camping gear, we are taking some of our tax return and buying everything we need. (I lost all my great camping gear in my divorce)

Any spots you can recommend? I do want to stay in AZ going close to the boarders is ok but I would rather stay close to a main high way. My car is not in good shape and don’t want to take it some place it can’t come back from.

i am looking for places that are kindof in the wilderness, don’t require permits or reservations (preferably) and maybe have swimming holes in the summer. Also, hopefully they are within 3-4 hours drive of the bay area. thanks
