The 1417 acre Hartman Creek State Park has four quiet spring fed lakes and 10 miles of scenic trails to explore. There is a swimming beach on Hartman Lake. There are no developed boat landings so paddlers will need to carry in their water crafts to access the lakes. Mrs. Mcgyver and I took off for the night to be alone in the woods. This is a mix of pictures and some video clips. (I finally have video) This was Mrs. Mcgyvers first camping that wasn’t in a campground. We have been camping as a family to campgrounds for years, but never could convince her into going primitive. She finally agreed, and loved it. Just didn’t appreciate the hike out. Neither did I for that matter.
