Family Camping

I need a place in northern california thats on the cheaper side, where theres a lake and i can go with a lot of people

I plan on going on a road trip this coming August. Does anyone know of any good camping places? I don’t want it to be too crowded, more private, but still a legal camp ground. Any suggestions?

I am looking for a campsite preferably in the mountains by a lake or near the ocean. I am looking to hostt a family reunion set for this summer and i’m getting stuck. Are there any campsites large enough to accomodate this large of a group? Does anyone have any other possible solutions??

We are going camping at the Pi Pi Campground ( Pi Pi is pronounced “pie pie”) We heard there are some natural water slides around there but cannot find any details/directions on the internet-
Does anyone know by chance about them or where they are?
