Rebalance the front tires with weights on BOTH sides of the wheel. Also, install a new quality steering stabilizer.
That should fix the problem for you

Your lift kit should have come with spacers to ensure proper angle / tilt of the axles and proper angle of the drivelines. It may also require spacers to adjust (lower) transmission mount. Without the adjustments your yolk - u-joint angles and your steering geometry will be out of specs and cause shake / vibration.

If you did not install the spacers you may have to visit a suspension/spring/alignment shop.

Rotate the front tires to the rear and put the rear tires on the front-while you are rotating them check each wheel to see if a balance weight has come off or if there is any mud globbed on the inside of the rim.You can allso check each rim to see if one is a little bent by hand spinning it on the axle and check for a slight wobble. Most front end vibrations on 4X4s are a bad tire ,bent rim ,or lost wheel weight or mud build up inside rim. Hope this helps

You're going to want 3.5" or 4" of backspacing on those rims. They may rub a little bit under very extreme use on the street (you'll probably roll over first). They'll rub a little bit offroad, but not bad. For $100 you can get a 1" body lift to prevent that. Don't go over 1" with the body lift.

You don't say what rim width you have here is a goverment spec ( Australia) for rim width and tyre sizes you can fit on them so is well within safe :

Xj Cherokees have 7" rim width don't know what 2001 have so will post 8" rim width tyre sizes as well:

7" rim : 215-275 for 70/75 series ,205-255 for 60/65 series
, example of largest tyre will read 275/75/15 on the wall of the tyre ( this size ya may need bigger flares LOL)

8" rim: 255-275 for 70/75 series
             235-295 for 60/65 series

Wranglers (pre 2007) and Cherokees have the same 15 in wheel size and lug pattern. You could use the Cherokee whell if you wanted.

My spare is off a Cherokee.

I have owned 3 98 TJ's first one had gears raised to a set of 373 and it ran great. Are you running stock rims or did you get deeper rims so they would stick out. If you didn't know you can run 31's on stock rims and thats as high as you can go.
If you went wider rim you might want to change your gear ratio from stock 410's (lower gear) to a set of 373's (higher gear) so this way it does not take as much power from the motor to turn the tires.
I am driving a 98 TJ now 4banger with a stick and I am running stock 410's, but I have a stick and that makes all the difference.

Remember if you change the rear gears you also need to change the front so they will not bind in 4x4

Also if you run 31's on stock you will get some rubbing. I can tel you how to stop that with a simple turn of a bolt.

Stock tires on most jeeps are 29's, if you are wanting to go bigger its fine, but there are some key points you'll have to remember when upgrading your tire size.
1) Automatic transmissions tend to cost you power in the first place
2) The larger size tire you run, the more power you'll tend to loose

And although you will have a power loss, it will be mostly noticeable at high speeds (free way speeds) and your ability to pass will be slowed. But for the most part, there isn't too much to worry about with 32s they wont really effect your axles (although it would never hurt to change them out since they are quiet weak), the tires are not going to bog your engine down so far that you'll have to worry about stalling issues or anything. I think you'll be okay, actually i'm pretty sure you'll be okay. I have an 02' Wrangler (4 cly) I ran 35x12.5x15 on it for months and months all I noticed was a little finder rubbing and some power loss. It's really no big deal. Stick to anything 33X12.5 and lower and you'll be fine!
